Two hours with one stake account.
Hana Seo, or Minjae Kwon when the Saturday circle has the morning, sits with you and a printed worksheet. You name a public vote address, sort stake authority from withdraw authority, and mark whether the account is activating, active, deactivating, or inactive.
The room keeps no keys and submits no transactions. You leave with notes in your own sentences and the epoch boundary written in the margin if your stake is about to move.

A commission change, and an epoch boundary.
In spring a Namyangju reader brought her uncle, whose validator had raised commission from 5 percent to 10. He wanted the SOL spendable that afternoon. The worksheet showed a deactivating stake that would clear only at the boundary, and they left with that time written down.

How a Solana epoch frames validator work
An epoch is the clock the reading room uses to explain why a validator’s votes and a delegator’s rewards arrive together, and not on the afternoon you click delegate.
Warmup and cooldown on a stake account
Delegation and deactivation are epoch-paced. A Stake Reading Hour often exists because someone expected the balance to move the same afternoon.
Reading commission beside skip rate
A low commission can still pay a delegator poorly if the validator misses the slots it was given. The Saturday exercise puts both numbers on the same sheet.
